I FINALLY made the Shamrock Octagon that I had blogged about a while back when I got my awesome book stash from Tracee.

Today I decided to sit down, and with St. Patrick's Day coming up
I found it fitting to get my little shamrock crafted.

It took about 30 minutes to make.  Surprisingly larger than I anticipated, but I love it.

Here is the pattern...follow linearly

I pointed out the point where you will get a cluster of stitches on both the instructions, and on the one I made, so you can see what it will look like.

For those of you who give the pattern a go...let me know how it turns out!

  1. This is beautiful!!!
I think I will try it as the base for a hat!!!!
    You do such lovely work!
Have a beautiful day and keep stitching.

  2. That is really pretty. What are you going to do with it?

  3. Lovely! I can't wait to see what you will do with it. Sadly I'm still on the basic crochet lessons. Not yet mastered as I'm not really sure I'm doing things right. grrr.

  4. beautiful!
